On
behalf of our entire church family, I'd like to welcome you
to First United Methodist of Charlottesville. We
hope you will join us for one of our four
weekly worship services: we
hold three different style services every Sunday morning and
a mid-week communion and prayer
service every Wednesday evening.
First
church has many ways you can get connected in fellowship
with
others: we offer classes and small
groups for adults, teens
and kids; service teams
and projects like the backyard mission, Loaves and Fishes
community food pantry, PACEM homeless shelter, Appalachian
Service
Project and many, many more.
If
you're interested in becoming an official member of First
Church, we invite you to attend our Pathway training event,
held every
other month. And while membership is a great way to connect
with our church, please know that all are welcome to worship,
celebrate communion, serve others and fellowship without
becoming an "official" member of the church.
