United Methodist Church recognizes how important the middle and
high school years are. They are a time of challenge, change,
fun, and confusion as our youth investigate who they are in the Lord.
FUMC Youth Group helps teens on that journey of self-discovery. Our
youth are vibrant members of the church community. |
|
Our
youth group is open to all kids in grades 6-12. All
area middle and high schools are well represented in the group,
creating a natural,
healthy diversity.
Sunday school for jr. and sr. high students is held on Sunday morning both from 9:45-10:45 and from 11:00-12 noon in the youth suite on the third floor of the church.
Youth group meets on Sunday night from 6-8 and dinner is provided. For more information on weekly activities check out our youth blog site. Parents can check out the parents blog site to find more information on dinners, parents groups, carpooling, etc. |

The
FUMC youth group, is a sound, solid, Biblically based program
that allows
open discussion and study of the Scriptures and their relevance
today. FUMC is also blessed to have two students from the University of Virginia, Rebekah Berlin and Patricia Rowley, working with the youth.
In
addition to weekly meetings, youth group members have
plenty of fun opportunities to explore their growing faith
and to form solid
friendships through numerous activities.
